Music Monday: Akira Yamaoka

Akira Yamaoka is definitely one of my favorite composers of all time. He's worked on several video games for Konami, but he is mostly known for his work on the Silent Hill series.

He does a great job capturing the atmosphere of the games. the music is dark, sad, and yet very beautiful.

These songs are a must listen:
Promise

You're Not Here

Dance With Night Wind

Remodeling

Scarlet

Never Forgive Me, Never Forget Me

Cold Blood

Note: I realize the entry is two days late. However, Music Wednesday simply doesn't have the same ring to it. :)

About Me

My Photo
Hello, my name is Allyson and I'm 24 years old. I'm interested in horror movies, the paranormal, computers, and listening to music. Any music will do, unless it's country or classical. I take that back. I will listen to Johny Cash. :) I'm also into collecting knives, swimming, reading (Steven King is my favorite author), going to clubs, watching anime, and playing video games. I would also like to mention that i am blind, and have been since I was ten months old. How am I able to use a computers play video games you ask? Most of the games I play are fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Tekken. I also like games like resident Evil and Silent Hill. Too bad I can't play them, so I stick to watching youtube clips. Back to the other question at hand. I'm using a mac, which has a program on it called voiceover. It's a program that reads the text on the screen out loud. If you wanna know anything else, just ask. Hope you enjoy the blog.
