Enough With the Time Traveling Bull Shit

I haven't watched Heroes in quite some time, so I only just found out that NBC was canceling the show. I hate to say it, but I saw this coming; and I think a lot of people did as well.

One of the main reasons I got tired of watching was because of all the time traveling that was going on. It was cool for the first few episodes, but after a while it got old; and I stopped giving a crap. I don't care what happened in japan back in the 1500's. Can we please get Hiro back in the present where he can actually be useful?

So now we have an altered present, and about three or four different versions of the future. Are you confused yet? Yeah that's what I thought. If you absolutely have to show events that take place in the past or future, try showing glimpses. There is no need to dedicate whole episodes to them.

Since Heroes has been canceled, it really doesn't matter at this point. However, I hope that writers and producers will take this into account if they ever make another super-hero based series.

  1. Agreed. I watched the first season of heroes and really liked it. I never finished the second season because... well... IT SUCKED! Time traveling is not the best way to engage an audience in a SUPER HERO STORY! I mean really NBC, you can do better.
Oh wait... same network that cancelled studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and totally made them ruin it by... oh man, the rage builds.

  2. I never watched Studio 60, but then again I find that there's not much on tv that I want to watch anymore. There's not a lot of variety. It's either crappy reality tv, or CSI spin offs.

About Me

My Photo
Hello, my name is Allyson and I'm 24 years old. I'm interested in horror movies, the paranormal, computers, and listening to music. Any music will do, unless it's country or classical. I take that back. I will listen to Johny Cash. :) I'm also into collecting knives, swimming, reading (Steven King is my favorite author), going to clubs, watching anime, and playing video games. I would also like to mention that i am blind, and have been since I was ten months old. How am I able to use a computers play video games you ask? Most of the games I play are fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Tekken. I also like games like resident Evil and Silent Hill. Too bad I can't play them, so I stick to watching youtube clips. Back to the other question at hand. I'm using a mac, which has a program on it called voiceover. It's a program that reads the text on the screen out loud. If you wanna know anything else, just ask. Hope you enjoy the blog.
